Deckhouse
- During the summer months, we ask that the shades be pulled at least 3/4 of the way down to keep the heat of the sun out. This is especially for the West-facing windows.
- Also in the Deckhouse, the two switches to the left of the second set of double doors control the lights above the deck and the flood lights for the b-ball court.
Heat & A/C
- Chapel: Feel free to adjust the air as needed. The one remote controls all four units. And feel free to leave them on overnight as they are highly efficient.
- Guesthouse: please keep the thermostat at 72 or above during the winter and 70 or below during the summer.
- Deckhouse: please keep the thermostat at 65 or above during the winter and 65 or below during the summer.
- Cabins: please turn off A/C or heat units before checking out.
Linens
- Before you leave, in Cabins 1-5 and the Bunkhouse adjacent to the Guesthouse, please be sure to pull the top, fitted cotton sheet from each twin bunkbed that was slept in, then wad it up and leave it on the bed. This is so that we know which beds were used and which sheets to wash.
Pond
- We strongly recommend life jackets in the swimming pond.
- Please send out and bring in the paddle boats to the grassy area next to the sand so as to keep from pushing sand into the water.
WiFi
Both the Guesthouse and the Deckhouse areas have WiFi and the passcode for both is: restoration
Please provide this code to adult leaders only who need it for retreat purposes or periodic personal use.
Chapel AV info
Provided:
- 1/8 headphone jack to 1/4 jacks for computer audio to mixing board
- 2 speakers, 2 mics, mixing board, Apple TV box, 72" TV
- Analog snake with 1/4 and xlr inputs
- Piano
- Wireless inTRAnet network for projection to Apple TV
(There is no internet at the Chapel - please download any necessary items prior to your arrival)
- Find “Chapel” network, password “restoration”, then select Screen Mirror option to cast to TV
- Apple TV and TV remotes are velcroed to back, bottom left of TV; power on both devices; select HDMI 1; press ok on TV remote to select
- Surge Protector and Wireless Router at back table - make sure turned on
- AirPlay from phone directly to Apple TV is also available - same thing, find the network "Chapel" and cast to TV
